More Cuda News: Relay Meet and Swim-a-Long
Great meet last night! We had a lot of solid swims and personal bests, keep practicing and swimming fast! Thanks to all of our volunteers and coaches who made everything run so smoothly. Here are a few reminders as we round out this week:
Wednesday - Swim-a-Long
During practices tomorrow we will swim our hearts out! Be ready to swim lots of laps, raise some money, and have fun! Go online for the Pledge Form and more details.
Thursday - Backstroke Clinic
Spots are still available for the 11 AM Backstroke Clinic on Thursday. Sign up on our website.
Friday - Fun Friday
Swimmers wear their best BEACH attire to practices!
- Meet RSVP and Volunteer Sign Ups are LIVE for Saturday's Relay Meet - go online NOW so we can get a firm headcount. Our team needs 100% participation the entire meet so we can form full relays. If your swimmer is absent, then 3 other Cudas won't get to swim :(
- All swimmers must arrive and check-in by 7:30 a.m.
- Athletes should remain in the tent area. However, please do check on your children periodically and remind them to be respectful. Our Tent Monitors have a tireless/hot job rounding up our swimmers and we need them to listen and cooperate with our adult volunteers. For safety reasons, the children should not enter areas that the home team blocks off.
- Next year, we will have a volunteer opening for our Ribbons Coordinator position. This is an important indoor role with the added perk of air conditioning! You can certainly pause to watch your kiddos swim. If you are interested in learning more, and observing at the next meet, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Lauren Krocak.
Have a great rest of your week...see you at the pool!
