Cuda News: Kick Off Party and 8 & Under Meet

    Greetings Barracudas!

Here's another update for this week...

Our new website brings more robust functionality and offers improved efficiencies - which is great news! The website can only be as good as the data that's provided, and that's where we are counting on YOUR input. It's as easy as 1-2-3:

    1. Log-in to the website using the credentials you created during registration
    2. RSVP for your swimmers using the green RSVP / Meet Entry button (either on the homepage OR the calendar tab)
    3. Sign Up to Volunteer using the green JOB SIGN UP button (either on the homepage OR the calendar tab)

The website is your one-stop-shop to let us know if your swimmers will attend our meets AND it's the only way to sign up to volunteer. Please help us by taking a few moments to log in to the system; it's so much easier than word of mouth, reconciling our inbox, or tracking everyone down in person!

So...don't delay...please go online and RSVP and click JOB SIGN UP for both the upcoming Kick-Off Party and the 8 & Under Meet:

FRIDAY - KICK OFF PARTY, 6 PM at South Briar: It is time to KICK OFF our summer swim season! The team will be providing and grilling hot-dogs and burgers! We are counting on our families to bring the buns, condiments, chips, etc. Use the online RSVP function to let us know if you are attending and click JOB SIGN UP to indicate what you can contribute -- drop your items at practice by Thursday. (Bring your own drinks and desserts to the party!) We are looking forward to celebrating what will be a great start to the season.

SATURDAY - 8 & UNDER MEET at Ashford South Pool (12550 Westella): All swimmers need to report by 7:30 a.m. Don't forget to go online to RSVP (Meet Entry) for your swimmer(s) and select your volunteer JOB SIGN UP. There will be no times taken, nor DQ’s given...so the volunteer positions will be a little different from a typical dual meet. Instead of timers and judges, we will need help handing out popsicle sticks and ribbons. The purpose of this meet is for our youngest Cudas to have fun and gain confidence in swim meet logistics.

Thank you in advance for your support! We realize this is a new process, so please let us know if you have any questions!

P.S. We are looking forward to TIME TRIALS tomorrow, Tuesday, during practices. Make sure your kiddos have a good night's rest, a healthy breakfast, wear their racing suits and arrive to practice ready to swim FAST! These times will be used to seed our upcoming meets.
